‘No basis to confirm massive dropouts’

THE Department of Education (DepEd) on Tuesday said it could not confirm reports that many students have dropped out because of the difficulties of distance learning.

Education Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones said they were “shocked” to hear the claims of “massive dropouts.”
