CALAPAN CITY, Mindoro Oriental: Amid the high prices of pork meat even in this province that has a booming swine industry, several carcasses of pigs have been found along the coastal barangay (villages) of Naujan and Pola towns.

According to the Provincial Veterinary Office (ProVet), fishermen from Barangay Estrella in Naujan found some 12 dead pigs floating along the shore of the village on Sunday.
