PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has assured the military and police that they would be among the first to receive free coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccines from the government, along with their families.

In a speech during his visit to a camp in Jolo, Sulu on Friday, the President said he would ask vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. to include the families of the troops in the government's Covid-19 vaccination program.
