SENATOR Sherwin Gatchalian over the weekend said the Visayan Electric Co. (VECo) must refund its customers if it is proven that it violated the law because of its high cost of electricity.
The senator noted the Jan. 4, 2021 directive, issued by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) to VECo, demanding an explanation on some complaints about its alleged high electricity cost.
