CABUYAO CITY: A police officer was shot dead by a motorcycle riding gunmen. Cabuyao City Chief of Police LtCol Gilmore Wasin identified the victim as SSgt. Christian Ramos, a resident of Sitio, Laguarta, Poblacion 1, Calaca Batangas Wasin said Ramos was onboard his motorcycle when he was shot repeatedly by still unidentified suspects on board a motorcycle along Yulo Road, Barangay Pittland, Cabuyao City. Ramos sustained multiple gunshot wounds on different parts of his body and died on the spot. The suspects fled after the incident. Wasin said they were investigating if the victim traded shots with the suspects because of the presence of two kinds of shells from different guns but his service firearm was not recovered. Wasin added that they were also looking if the shooting is work-related as the victim is assigned at the Regional Internal Affairs Service at PRO CALABARZON in Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City.
