THE mayors of the cities of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas and Valenzuela on Monday assured their respective constituents that coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccines would be available for them in the second quarter of the year.

Mayors Oscar Malapitan (Caloocan), Antolin Oreta 3rd (Malabon), Tobias Tiangco (Navotas) and Rex Gatchalian (Valenzuela) told The Manila Times in separate interviews that they forged agreements with the British-Swedish multinational pharmaceutical company, AstraZeneca.
