The government has signed an agreement with Indian authorities for the purchase of millions of doses of the Covovax vaccine for the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. signed a term sheet last Saturday with the Serum Institute of India (SII) and Faberco Life Sciences Inc. to reserve 30 million doses of the vaccine developed by the United States-based Novavax and produced in India.
