THE Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Friday approved the Chinese company Clover Biopharmaceuticals' application to hold clinical trials of its coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccine in the country.
In a statement issued on Friday night, FDA Director General Eric Domingo said the company was the second to have their clinical trial application approved after US-based Janssen Pharmaceuticals Company of Johnson and Johnson, which was approved on Dec. 28, 2020.
