Passenger with Covid variant identified as PH domestic helper in HK

THE female passenger who tested positive for the new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) variant in Hong Kong is a domestic helper from Cagayan Valley, Health Undersecretary Rosario Vergeire said on Thursday.

Vergeire's disclosure comes as the Department of Health (DoH) said the passenger went into quarantine in Manila before flying to the special administrative region on December 22.
