SEN. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go on Monday pushed for stricter travel restrictions as the new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) variant spreads to more countries.
Go, chairman of the Senate Health and Demography committee, said authorities must continuously adopt tighter travel rules and stricter health protocols to prevent the new strain from entering the country.
