For Mark “Mugen” Striegl, 2020 was a fruitful year in which he signed a four-fight contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in August and made his debut against Russian Said Nurmagomedov.

Although he wound up losing that fight in just the first round via knockout, it was still the initial fulfillment of a dream for the Filipino mixed martial arts (MMA) star.
