The number of firecracker-related injuries significantly went down in December, the Department of Health (DoH) said.
From Dec. 21, 2020 to Jan. 1, 2021, the DoH reported only 50 firecracker-related injuries, 85 percent lower than the cases reported in the same period in 2020, and 89 percent lower than the five-year average from 2015 to 2019.
