Centro Escolar University (CEU) alumna Janine Pontejos is easily one of the most accomplished Filipina basketball players in the country.

She hauled individual awards as a CEU Lady Scorpion, won the Philippines a gold medal in the 2018 FIBA 3x3 shootout contest, bagged gold medals in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games Women’s 3x3 and 5-on-5 basketball, and grabbed the Women’s National Basketball League’s first-ever Most Valuable Player (MVP) plum in 2019.
