CAMP MELCHOR F DELA CRUZ, Upi, Gamu, Isabela: The Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army (CPP-NPA) operating in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) and the Cordillera region continues to “weaken” after their guerrilla fronts disintegrated, according to the Philippine Army’s 5th Infantry Division (5th ID).
Major Jekyll Julian Dulawan, 5th ID Public Affairs Division chief, said their focused military operations resulted in the complete disbanding of four guerrilla fronts of the CPP-NPA.
