THE Philippine Cricket Association (PCA) announced on Saturday that the men’s and women’s national cricket teams will see action in international events in 2021.

In a post on its Facebook page, the PCA said The Blue Caps, the country’s national women’s team, is set to make history and become the first Philippine women’s team that competes in an official International Cricket Council (ICC) event, the 2021 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup East Asia Pacific Qualifier in Samoa from September 3 to 8.
