Senate passes 13 priority measures

ONLY one of the priority measures submitted by Malacanang to Congress was enacted by the Senate as it adjourned sine die on Wednesday.

Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile said that 13 measures were passed by the Upper Chamber despite delays in their legislative work because of the impeachment trial of former Supreme Court Chief Justice Renato Corona.
