THE National Governments debt diminished by P5.075.24 trillion as of the end of April, according to the Bureau of Treasury (BTr).
Records from the BTr showed that as of April this year, the govern¬ments debt stood at P5.075.24 trillion, lower by P13.70 billion from end-March 2012 level. Of the total debt, P2.056.46 trillion or 40.52 percent is owed to foreign creditors and P3.018.78 trillion or 59.48 percent to domestic creditors.
