The Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech) is expected to distribute more farm machines in 2021 as the availability of a vaccine for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) starting next year will help ease quarantine measures.
Under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF)-Mechanization Program, PHilMech has made big strides in its farm machine distribution despite the ongoing lockdowns and quarantines nationwide.
