Although the word “startup” is usually associated with the confines of Silicon Valley, the past few years have shown that startup hubs are also popping up in other parts of the world. In Southeast Asia, places like the ultramodern city of Singapore and the white sand beaches of Bali have become veritable homes for some of the most innovative startups.
