The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) hailed Universal Robina Corp. (URC) as the country’s top exporter for the processed food and beverage sector at this year’s National Export Congress.

In a statement, the listed food and beverage arm of JG Summit Holdings Inc. said they were cited based on the value of export transactions provided by the Philippine Statistical Authority, which was approximately at $30 million last year.
