The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) have allowed more technical vocational education and training (TVET) qualifications trainings and assessments to be conducted in areas placed under general community quarantine (GCQ).

In a statement over the weekend, DTI and Tesda said more trainings are now allowed following the issuance of Joint Memorandum Circular (JMC) 20-06 released last December 9.
