Toll operators test cashless systems

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) and toll concessionaires have signed an agreement to test the interoperability of the latter’s cashless systems.

In a statement on Monday, the DOTr said SMC TPLEX Corp. (SMCTC), Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. (MPTC), and the NLEX Corp. (NLEX) inked the memorandum of understanding for the said move last Friday.
