AN advocacy group said amendments to the 2021 General Appropriations Bill (GAB) are reflective of the needs of disabled Filipinos, thanking Senators Panfilo Lacson, Mary Grace Poe, and Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara for taking action.

“We are more than elated to share that the amendments to the 2021 General Appropriations Bill that were submitted by the Offices of Senator Panfilo Lacson and Senator Grace Poe covered line items that promoted disability inclusion in all infrastructure projects of the government, particularly public schools, and that all the proposed items were accepted by the Finance Committee Chairperson Senator Sonny Angara,” a statement from the group Advocates for Inclusion wrote.
