Businesses must take advantage of the availability of digital tools that would enable their operations to ride out the economic impact of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic and rising number of cybercrimes, according to experts.

In his opening remarks during a webinar hosted by KPMG and the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP), MAP President Francis Lim cited the Global Competitiveness Report of the World Economic Forum, which said the Philippines was the least competitive among the founding members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations on that issue.
