Manila Water Co. Inc. and Maynilad Water Services Inc. will slightly lower their rates next year after the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) approved the decrease of tariff on customers’ water bills for the first quarter of 2021.
MWSS chief regulator Patrick Lester Ty said the foreign currency differential adjustment (FCDA) of Manila Water and Maynilad would drop by P0.14 per cubic meter (m3) and P0.05 per m3, respectively.
