Covid-19 cases down by 55% in Pangasinan

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan: Active cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) will continue to drop next month or before the end of this year after the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) confirmed that the number has been reduced by 55 percent, according to Gov. Amado Espino 3rd.

“This [reduction] is a collaborative effort from the barangay (village) down to the provincial level. This is also because of the cooperation of the Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force and we have good communication down the line. This is the reason why the strategies that we were conducting helped in the lowering of active cases in Pangasinan,” Espino explained to The Manila Times over the weekend.
