Director Easy Ferrer didn’t expect that his first horror film titled 'The Missing' under Regal Entertainment will be chosen as one of the 10 official entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival 2020. Traditionally, a horror film attracts a wide audience share during the festival in pre-pandemic days. The 'Shake, Rattle & Roll' franchise of Regal is one of the most successful in the history of the MMFF, in terms of box-office returns and critical-acclaim.
