THIS column’s exposé of the allegedly corrupted bidding of the Philippine Identification (Phil ID) cards drew varied reactions from readers. Some of them are total strangers to me while others are colleagues or friends.
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas-Security Plant Complex (BSP-SPC), which handled the procurement of the Phil ID, reacted in a curious manner. According to my sources inside, all the employees of the SPC were required to sign nondisclosure agreements (NDA) pertaining to the Phil ID project on November 20.
