Actor-director Atty. Vince Tañada is writer and director of “Why Love Why”, the initial BL offering of Philstagers Films which premiered on the YouTube Channel of Philippine Stagers on November 14.

In a zoom conference, Vince said he is clueless as to what BL is all about but he is aware that it is quite popular. Vince missed writing and directing since their theater company had been inactive since the pandemic. Wanting to give jobs to his actors, he decided to write the script of 'Why Love Why.' When he conducted a survey on Twitter among the fans of his theater group as to what material they would like as the first film venture of Philstagers Films, a BL series emerged as the top choice.
