Business groups said they are not expecting a major shift when it comes to the United States’ bilateral relations with the Philippines following Democrat’s candidate Joe Biden’s victory, but noted that the President-elect will likely change tone on the US-China trade war issue.
Makati Business Club Executive Director Coco Alcuaz said there will be “probably not much change on a bilateral level unless the US revives TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership).”
