PILAR, Bataan: An economic processing zone and a container port terminal will be constructed in this municipality, Mayor Carlos Pizarro Jr. said.

The economic zone’s key feature is a container port because it is to occupy an estimated 500-hectare property traversing four seaside villages and adjacent to the Manila Bay. Pizzaro noted that the ecozone project was tentatively named Bataan New Container Port City.
