Cagayan Valley records P97-M rice eel exports

STA. FE, Nueva Vizcaya: The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) said an invasive fish species turned out to be the top outgoing commodity from Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) for October this year amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The BFAR’s Fisheries Quarantine Monitoring Station (BFAR-FQMS) in this town bared that it had recorded transported rice eel with a total of 998.1 metric tons from the Cagayan Valley region to Nueva Ecija province and Metro Manila.
