The province of Capiz, which comprises 16 municipalities and one component city, Roxas City, its capital, can be considered a developing province in Panay island and could be considered second to Iloilo province in terms of infrastructure, socio-economic development, health and education. The figures presented are good barometers that the province and each municipality need at least an architect to help the fast development of each municipality. The fast rising numbers of local architects in the whole province (Capiz State University produces more than a hundred plus licensed architects since it started to open this course more than 15 years ago) is also a good indicator that the province now is ready for the services of the architects and can even fill in the position of the city/municipal architect for each city/ municipality.
