PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte lifted the moratorium on petroleum exploration in the West Philippine Sea, the Department of Energy (DoE) said on Thursday.
The President gave his approval on the DoE’s recommendation to resume petroleum exploration in the disputed waters.
