THE Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) on Wednesday gave assurances that power firms will extend their 'no disconnection policy' until the end of this year.

Sen. Ana Theresia Hontiveros said that ERC officials assured her that power companies such as the Manila Electric Company (Meralco) will not cut their services to consumers who were unable to pay their bills.
