Officials from the World Health Organization (WHO), Department of Science and Technology (DoST), and Department of Health (DoH) are preparing for the Solidarity trials for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccine to ensure these will be safe and orderly.
WHO Philippines Representative Rabindra Abeyasinghe on Monday said the agency hopes to start the trials by the end of October as long as the DoST and its team of investigators have approved the clinical trial protocols and regulatory and ethical clearances.
