BACOLOD CITY: A total of 5,000 sacadas or migratory workers from Antique province are expected to arrive in Negros Occidental as the sugar milling season opens, said Zeaphard Gerhart Caelian, chief of the Provincial Disaster Management Program Division.
Caellian added that 300 arrived on Thursday, bringing the total to 500 workers already in the province.
