A survey conducted by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in seven countries showed that 51 percent of the respondents said the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) had affected their mental health.
In its report, “The greatest need was to be listened to: The importance of mental health and psychosocial support during Covid-19,” the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement said the pandemic added an “extraordinary level” of stress and suffering on communities around the world.
