FILIPINO athletes are slowly making some ground in the sporting scene after months of zero to minimal movement since the global outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

Young tennis star Alex Eala is one of those bright stars for the country amid these trying times as she made it to the second round of the 2020 Roland Garros juniors tournament on Sunday.
