Carina Dayondon is extraordinary.
She scaled the seven highest mountains in the world, thus becoming one of the first Filipinas to do so. She sailed Southeast Asia onboard a Balangay replica and used ancient navigational techniques of the original old salts way back in 320 AD. She serves the country as a lieutenant of the oldest humanitarian service and maritime law enforcement agency – the Philippine Coast Guard. As of late, she struck a deep friendship with a fellow Coast Guardian named Kendry, a deceivingly adorable golden retriever who trains to become a K-9 explosives detector dog.
