SANTIAGO CITY: Contact tracing in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) was intensified again as deaths had ballooned to 27 out of 1,656 positive cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), based on latest data, the Department of Health (DoH) said.
On Sunday, DoH-Cagayan Valley Center for Health Development Regional Director Dr. Rio Magpantay said of the confirmed cases, at least 537 or 32 percent were active cases, 1,092 or 66 percent were recoveries and 27 or two percent were deaths.
