Fewer Filipino households set aside money for emergencies and other expenses, a nationwide survey conducted by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) at the third quarter of this year revealed.
According to the central bank’s Consumer Expectations Survey, the percentage of households with savings in the July-September period shrank to 24.7 percent from 37.8 percent in the first quarter.
