22 Lanao Sur villages receive sacks of rice

MARAWI CITY: Deputy Chief Minister Aleem Ali Solaiman led the relief operations targeting 22 villages in Lanao del Sur and some areas in Lanao del Norte. Saluhuden Bin Hamza, head of Project Tabang’s Ranaw Region Management Team, said some 300,00 sacks of rice was allotted by the Project Tabang — Tulong Alay sa Bangsamoro Nangangailangan — as it started its second wave of relief operation to residents since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. Included among the beneficiary villages were Bito Buadi Itowa, Bito Buadi Parba, Bubong Lumbac, Bubong Pagalamatan, Bubonga Punud, Emie Punud, Miphaga, Rorogagus Eastphase 1 and 2, Rorogagus Proper, and Somiorang from Cluster 6 as well as Bangco, Cabasaran, Dulay Proper, Dulay West, Lilod Guimba, Malimono, Matampay Kormatan, Pantaon, Papandayan, Papanday and Caniogan, and Tolali from Cluster 7. The rice allotment is not solely for the city of Marawi but for the whole province of Lanao del Sur, including some areas in Lanao del Norte.
