Out of her own initiative, outspoken stellar actress and now "Chika Besh"morning show host Ria Atayde managed to gather more than three hundred celebrities to get involved to register and vote in the upcoming 2022 election. Of course, In The Know spoke exclusively to Ria to get the lowdown on what she named the We The Youth group.

This was born just last July and now other industries are joining in on her vision to get all the Gen Z and millennials to go and exercise their rights to suffrage. Surely, Ria’s mom Sylvia Sanchez is one proud parent! She taught her daughter well to care enough about the future. Ria shared that the moment she turned 18yrs old, she immediately registered and became a voter ever since. She credits her family and their dynamics as her inspiration, “At the dining table the topic would always be always about politics Or business more than our personal or private lives so bata pa lang it’s always been something that I have been aware of.”
