At least 113 senior citizens from Villa Carolina 1, Barangay Tunasan received antiflu and anti-pneumonia vaccine shots on September 15 to boost their immune system amid the pandemic. The Muntinlupa City Health Office, through the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs, have been facilitating weekly vaccination for residents aged 60 years old and above from different barangay (villages) as part of the local Covid-19 response efforts.

Recipients were given schedules by their barangay senior presidents to strictly observe physical distancing and other minimum health standards. Mayor Jaime Fresnedi said the local government unit targets to cover all villages for the vaccination program.
