THE fish kill in Manila Bay this week might have been due to an “oceanographic phenomenon called the upwelling or overturn caused by the depletion of dissolved oxygen among fish,” the Department of Agriculture’s Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR) said on Saturday.
