Political leaders in Iloilo City lauded the decision of the Supreme Court (SC) in favor of More Electric and Power Corp. (More Power), putting to rest the city’s yearlong contention over the electricity distribution network.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled in favor of business tycoon Enrique Razon’s More Power and has put down the plea filed by Panay Electric Co. (PECO).
