Hong Kong to totally lift Covid restrictions

HONG KONG: Health authorities in this island-state said there had not been a domestically transmitted coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-9) infection in the previous 24 hours for the first time since early July, and numerous restrictions would end.

The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) announced it will allow bars, karaoke bars, night clubs, theme parks and swimming pools to reopen on Friday. Restaurants will be allowed to remain open until midnight but public gatherings of more than four people remain restricted.
