A low pressure area (LPA) spotted 215 kilometers east of Catarman, Northern Samar will likely develop into a tropical depression by Wednesday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
It was forecast to traverse the Visayas-Southern Luzon areas.
