KAWIT, Cavite: A portion of Cavite Expressway (Cavitex) southbound will be temporarily closed to traffic for three months to give way to ongoing construction and related roadworks for the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Line 1 extension project beginning Sept. 15, 2020.

The Southbound portion to Cavite and Las Piñas near the Parañaque Bridge (Fishport Area) are scheduled for closure from September 15 to December 15, to give way to a pipe-laying project by Maynilad Water Services Inc.
